We Love Good News

Jackie Feng has graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching and will begin work with us as soon as he receives the R-1 visa from the USCIS. We hope to receive it soon. He will continue to live in Memphis TN and travel to Asia as necessary. Please add Jackie to your prayer list.

On June 1, 2018, two new safe houses opened in Thailand, one in Mukdahan and one in Songkhla. Both will start receiving girls this month. The safe houses have house parents and all bunk beds and furniture have been installed. Mukdahan will house about 30 girls and Songkhla will house 60 girls. These two safe houses have been in our five year plan since the beginning of Save Asian Souls because Thailand is the center for Asian trafficking. We cannot save all the girls but we can save many in the years to come.

Pat and I are on the road reporting to all the congregations who support our girls in Asia. We hope to see many of you before we return to Asia on January 2, 2019, the Lord willing. Please keep us in your prayers. We will be in Asia for two months training new workers. All of our workers are faithful Christians. We love and appreciate each of them.

Based on the number of girls that will be coming to the safe houses soon, we will exceed 75 conversions to the Lord’s church. We are very pleased that God continues to bless our efforts as we serve Him. By the end of this year, we should be caring for about 200 girls. Nine have graduated from the sewing school at our safe house in Nepal. They are establishing sewing businesses with our assistance. They are no longer vulnerable to recruiters. Seven of the nine have been baptized into Christ. They are good girls and happy to be successful in life. A big change has occurred in their lives. They have a church family who loves them. We will continue to follow up with each of them.

God bless each of you.

With love,
Ron & Pat Brown
